1+ years expDynamic Manufacturing, Inc. is searching for a motivated Gauge Calibration Technician to join our rapidly evolving team. The role involves performing in-house calibrations, maintaining records, and training production staff on the proper use of gauges.

Responsibilities
Perform inhouse calibrations of all applicable gauges
Expedite the repair or replacement of damaged gauges in a timely manner
Maintain excellent record keeping of all calibration measurements
Execute Gauge R&R studies, when required
Assist in developing new gauge set up and calibration procedures as needed
Work with outside vendors to schedule onsite calibration or service maintenance as needed
Train production staff on proper use and care of shop floor gages
Uphold the 5S technique
Continually identify areas of improvement and develop plans to implement
Prioritize and manage a complex workload that is subject to last-minute changes
Readily understand and communicate gauge problems and gauge requirements
Qualification
Required
1-2 years experience in a gauging or inspection position
Can demonstrate understanding of blueprints, including GD&T
Can demonstrate proper usage of hand instruments such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauge blocks
Able to perform basic mathematical calculations
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, & Outlook
Strong written & verbal communication
Ability to multitask with attention to detail
Preferred
Bachelor of Science in applicable engineering or science field preferred, however candidates with relevant equivalent experience will be considered
Automotive industry, preferred
Technical degree or mechanical background preferred
Familiarity with Quality Management Systems in automotive manufacturing preferred
Mechanical drafting, AutoCAD, and/or Inventor a plus
Build effective relationships with team members and production staff
