NEOGOV is seeking dynamic and energetic seasonal applicants to work at their ice-skating facilities in Montgomery County Parks. The role involves supervising staff, managing ice rink operations, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

Assist facility management to ensure that all ice rink programs, or scheduled activities and departments operate on time, as scheduled, and on a daily basis
Supervise staff by ensuring that employees are at their scheduled workstation performing assigned duties
Perform cash handling, revenue reconciliation and reporting
Drive ice resurfacing equipment and sharpen skates (we will train)
Assist management by ensuring that all equipment is operated in a safe and appropriate manner
Respond in a timely manner to requests for information from both facility management and customers
Assist management in upholding the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the operation
Assist in creating a positive and professional atmosphere by consistently displaying a professional appearance and demeanor, while demonstrating superior customer service skills, attention to detail and pride in producing a first-class experience for our customers

Required

Knowledge of ice skating and ice rink operations
Excellent customer service skills
Attain First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications (training classes available)
Display a professional appearance and demeanor
Demonstrate attention to detail and pride in producing a first-class experience for customers
Complete a background investigation prior to hire
May be subject to medical, drug, and alcohol testing

Preferred

Experience in supervising staff
Cash handling experience
