Responsibilities

Lead mechanical design with a strong focus on industrial piping systems and equipment
Prepare and manage scope, budget, and schedules—ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope
Create and modify equipment specs, evaluate vendor packages, and ensure alignment with project goals
Oversee design deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, and complete project documents
Participate in project meetings, proposal development, and technical presentations
Ensure work meets industry standards (NFPA 59A, ASME B31.1/31.3, Section VIII, PHMSA, etc.) and internal QA expectations

Required

You must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
6+ years of experience with industrial mechanical/piping systems
Strong knowledge of valves, pipe components, and mechanical support design
Proven communication skills
Strong sense of urgency
Ability to juggle multiple projects with ease
Ensure work meets industry standards (NFPA 59A, ASME B31.1/31.3, Section VIII, PHMSA, etc.) and internal QA expectations

Preferred

Master's degree in Engineering
PE license
Experience with tools like CAESAR II, AutoPipe, and AutoCAD
Familiarity with process design, stress analysis, and commissioning/startup phases
Client-facing experience and the ability to lead cross-functional coordination
