Responsibilities
Teaching lower- and upper-level undergraduate psychology courses (12 hours)
Research and scholarly activity including supervision of undergraduate research projects
University and community service
Academic advisement of students
Advising and mentoring student organizations
Involvement with professional psychology organizations
Qualification
Required
PhD in Psychology from an accredited university (ABD considered) prior to start date
Experience in online teaching or a willingness to learn how to develop and teach online courses
Preferred
Training in area of specialization in psychology (open)
Teaching experience at the undergraduate level
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to establish an active undergraduate research program
Demonstrated promise as an advisor and mentor to undergraduate students
