Responsibilities

Able to operate machinery required to refurbish ion implanter modules
Accurately document maintenance activities
Troubleshoot issues with vacuum systems, power supplies, and source related issues
Collaborate with other maintenance techs on tool related issues
Follow safety protocols and cleanroom procedures, including proper handling of hazardous gases, chemicals, and materials

Qualification

Semiconductor equipment maintenanceTroubleshooting mechanical systemsTroubleshooting electrical systemsVacuum systems knowledgeReading schematicsProblem solvingCommunication skills

Required

2+ years of experience maintaining semiconductor equipment, ideally ion implantation tools
Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and vacuum systems
Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and technical drawings
Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment wearing full PPE
Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication skills
Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, or protected individual)
Compliance with all applicable export control regulations
Able to stand for the duration of the shift when needed
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
All employees are required to attend scheduled training, follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corporate EHS standards
Employee will have to pass a physical examination and get fitted for a SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus)
