$13/hr - $13/hrNEOGOV is seeking Community Gym Attendants to provide leadership in a safe and positive environment for rentals and recreation programs at the City’s community gyms. The role involves supervising gym activities, ensuring adherence to gym rules, and maintaining the facilities.

Responsibilities
Unlock and lock community gyms
Supervise community gyms and programs
Set-up and take-down of equipment for activities
Perform daily clean-up of community gyms
Maintain all related equipment and report any damage or loss to athletic supervisor
Perform necessary first aid for participants who are injured, complete the Personal Injury Report and submit it to the athletic supervisor
Maintain positive public relations, and enthusiastically support the New Hope Parks and Recreation Department
Qualification
Required
Organizational Knowledge: Understand the department's guidelines for using the community gyms
Interpersonal Skills: Able to demonstrate tact and friendliness in communicating with a variety of personalities
Planning/Time Management: Able to complete tasks in an organized and timely fashion and to arrive and leave work as scheduled
Monitoring: Able to keep track of community gym use in relation to the established guidelines
Administrative: Able to keep accurate and detailed records of participation levels
Flexibility: Adaptable to changes in work schedule (due to additions and cancellations)
Organizational Commitment: Willingness to accept department guidelines and policies
Must possess excellent verbal communication skills
Must possess ability to work well with public
Must be at least 15 years of age; 16 years and older preferred
Ability to pass a BCA background check
Preferred
Valid Minnesota driver's license or the ability to obtain one upon hire
Current concussion certification
