New Grad, Entry LevelMartin Marietta is a leading supplier of heavy building materials, including aggregates and cement. They are seeking a Process Maintenance Technician who will perform maintenance on equipment essential for cement manufacturing, working independently to ensure machinery is operational and safe.

Responsibilities
Inspect plant process machinery and provide recommendations for repair
Install & repair plant process machinery
Operate equipment such as boom lifts, cranes, forklifts, and other related mobile equipment
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in the maintenance of heavy process machinery, in the cement industry
Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in the English language
Must be able to read & understand operations and maintenance manuals, drawings, and schematics
Must place their personal safety and others safety as no. 1 priority
Must be able to utilize various measuring devices (micrometers, square, level, etc.)
Must be able to exhibit competence in shielded arc welding & flame cutting
Must be able to read gauges & keep accurate records of operating procedures and maintenance history
Pass required physical examination and drug screens
Must have knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems
Ability to repair and rebuild plant equipment with little or no supervision
Knowledgeable of MSHA standards and requirements
Knowledge of hazards associated with areas of responsibility
Preferred
Preferred knowledge of all types of equipment used in the manufacturing of cement
