NEOGOV is associated with Roanoke-Chowan Community College, which is seeking a part-time instructor for Auto Inspections. The successful applicant will teach evening classes, prepare course materials, and assess student learning outcomes while using various teaching methods.

Responsibilities

Provides classroom instruction to students through lectures, demonstration, laboratory exercises, handouts, responding to questions, and testing according to established meeting patterns

Assess student learning outcomes and demonstrate the use of the results to make improvements to course/program

Provides feedback to students regarding course progression

Records and maintain suitable class records which show student membership hours, attendance and grades in accordance with deadlines

Utilizing technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, communicate with others and facilitate learning

Test prep and prepare students for NC state inspection exam

Inform the Dean of workforce and the of any student issues (academic, attendance, behavior, cheating, and plagiarism) as soon as possible
