Mid Market Sales Representative

Responsibilities
Research, prospect, and chase down leads
Understand what challenges mid-market businesses face and show them how island.io makes those problems disappear
You know how to pitch, negotiate, and seal the deal
Keep their attention by being a trusted advisor, not just a salesperson
Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success so the handoff is smooth and clients feel taken care of from start to finish
Keep the sales pipeline fresh and accurate, and share what’s happening with your team so everyone stays in the loop
Qualification
Required
At least 1-2 years experience in software sales, preferably with some exposure to cybersecurity
A proven closer with a track record of consistently surpassing revenue targets while driving new business growth
You're a hunter and you love the chase, the strategy, and the satisfaction of winning new business
A quick learner who is a resourceful self-starter
You're comfortable with outreach tools and Salesforce
Communication is your strong suit — you're confident presenting and negotiating
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience — but show us your hustle
