Responsibilities

Investigation and prosecution of all Illinois criminal offenses

Proceedings to commit sex offenders pursuant to the Sexually Violent Persons (SVP) and Sexually Dangerous Persons (SDP) Acts

Handling motion hearings and trial work

Managing extensive discovery

Presenting and cross examining lay and expert witnesses

Working with the Department of Corrections and the Department of Human Services in various capacities

Required

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of prosecution experience

Candidates must be licensed by the State of Illinois at the time of application
