Responsibilities
Help all users understand warming house and rink rules and regulations to ensure a good experience for all users
Prepare attendance reports
Maintain safe and clean ice surfaces by scraping and removing snow from rinks
Maintain clean warming house (i.e. sweep, empty trash)
Promptly open, close, and secure the warming house according to schedule
Effective and respectful communication and interaction with other employees, supervisors, individuals from other organizations, and the general public
Assist skaters as needed
Qualification
Required
At least 16 years old
Able to do light to medium snow shoveling
Effective communication skills
Responsible and reliable
Ability to have fun and work well with the general public to ensure a good experience for all users
Ensure a fun & safe skating environment
Ability to work responsibly and with minimal supervision
Ability to work flexible work hours (evenings & weekends)
Enjoy working outdoors and interacting with people
Preferred
Basic first aid and CPR certificates desirable
Benefits
