Responsibilities
Own design across all surfaces: Define and uphold a cohesive design system and user experience across mobile, web, and telehealth
Lead and grow the design team: Manage, mentor, and inspire a small team of product designers, fostering a culture of craft, collaboration, and continuous learning
Elevate the user experience: Partner with product, engineering, and clinical teams to translate complex healthcare workflows into simple, intuitive interfaces that build trust with patients and providers
Drive the design process: Set standards for research, prototyping, visual design, and usability testing to ensure product decisions are grounded in both creativity and evidence
Be hands-on: Contribute directly to product design where needed, especially in early iterations or high-stakes features
Champion design at the company level: Advocate for design thinking in strategy discussions and ensure the user voice is central to decision-making
Qualification
Required
Experience in leading design teams and managing design processes
Strong portfolio showcasing design work across mobile, web, and telehealth platforms
Ability to define and uphold a cohesive design system and user experience
Experience in collaborating with product, engineering, and clinical teams
Proficiency in research, prototyping, visual design, and usability testing
Hands-on experience in product design
Strong communication skills to advocate for design thinking at the company level
