T&M Associates is seeking a multi-talented Staff Engineer to join their Water / Wastewater Department. This role involves designing projects related to water and wastewater treatment facilities and linear infrastructure, including field inspections and construction observation for municipal infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, and bid packages

Conduct construction observation for municipal infrastructure projects (e.g., sewer, storm drain, water)

Ensure contractor compliance with design drawings and specifications

Perform quantity measurements, review shop drawings, and prepare daily field reports

Coordinate with municipal staff, residents, and other stakeholders

Participate in project discussions regarding technical approach, cost, and scheduling

Required

Bachelor's degree in either Civil or Environmental Engineering field is required

Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is required

Detail-oriented with a strong command of design principles and the ability to develop neat and accurate design calculations

Excellent analytical, interpersonal, writing, and verbal communication skills are required

Ability to work with peers and senior management and be a team player

Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

Preferred

2 - 4 years of related experience is preferred

Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is preferred with the goal to obtain a Professional Engineer's (P.E.) License
