Responsibilities
Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions
Performs daily shift startup checks on all operating production lines
Coordinates with Maintenance and Engineering to evaluate, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment malfunctions
Responsible for verifying and documenting calibration status, machine settings etc
Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
Coordinates with Maintenance and Engineering to evaluate, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment malfunctions
Responsible for proper storage, control, and identification of tooling and sub-equipment
Must follow all lock out/ tag out procedures
Suggests process and safety improvement ideas
Follow all company safety guidelines and process
Qualification
Required
2-3 years' experience in a fast-paced manufacturing work environment
Analytical Trouble Shooting
Ability to read technical drawings/prints
Strong mechanical/technical aptitude
Computer skills as required by stated accountabilities
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Provide overtime coverage for alternate shifts or weekends as required
