Responsibilities

Complete preventative maintenance requirements

Locate source of problem(s) by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments

Remove defective parts by dismantling devices

Provide mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests

Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends

Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results

Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment

Maintain poise and focus under time constraint and adverse conditions

Attend and complete trainings as required by the Company and client

Pass all required drug/alcohol testing and background requirements

Keep inventory of parts need for your area

Adhere to company work safe policies

Perform other related duties as assigned

Required

High school diploma or equivalent work experience or 6 months' experience in related industry or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

Experience working on heavy duty equipment required

Must have own tools

Must have reliable transportation

High school diploma or equivalent work experience or 12 months' experience in related industry or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

Experience trouble-shooting electrical systems

Experience with welding and fabrication

Experience with gooseneck and 18 wheeler trailer repairs

Experience with generator repair work
