Responsibilities
Design and implement clean, efficient, and reusable React components
Translate UI/UX designs into functional, responsive web interfaces
Optimize performance for web applications across a wide range of devices and browsers
Integrate with RESTful APIs
Write unit and integration tests using tools like Jest, Testing Library, or Playwright
Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards across the team
Qualification
Required
Work in person one (1) day a week at our Houston offices (1000 N Post Oak Road, Houston, TX 77055)
5+ years of professional experience in front-end development
3+ years of hands-on experience with React, Hooks, and modern state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or Context API)
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS
Experience with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, Rollup) and bundling strategies
Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and Git-based version control
Proven experience building responsive and accessible (WCAG-compliant) interfaces
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred
Experience with server-side rendering (Next.js) or static site generators
Familiarity with component libraries like Storybook, Shadcn, etc
Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest, Vitest, or Playwright
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker)
