Responsibilities
Oversee the County’s ERP system and enterprise applications, ensuring optimal functionality and continuous improvement
Direct and mentor the Applications Team, setting priorities, evaluating performance, and enforcing best practices
Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to align system solutions with organizational needs
Lead enterprise wide upgrades, modifications, and integration projects, including IBM Power 9 and iSeries systems
Review, recommend, and implement application enhancements that improve efficiency, usability, and cost-effectiveness
Support and maintain custom applications developed for iSeries and .NET platforms
Manage budgets, schedules, and vendor relationships to achieve successful project outcomes
Serve as the primary liaison between IT and stakeholders, translating technical concepts into clear, actionable insights
Qualification
Required
4+ years of enterprise applications support
Must possess a valid Driver's License and have held it for at least 2 years
Strong track record of building stakeholders buy-in around complex enterprise technology initiatives
Strong organization, project management, and problem-solving skills
Hands-on experience with IBM Power 9, iSeries, SQL, DB2, .NET, and RPG programming
Preferred
