Maintenance & Service Technician III

Responsibilities
Providing vital technical and hands-on support for the installation of new systems, and maintenance of existing systems
Demonstrating the highest standards of safety performance—both while performing work at customer sites and when operating a company vehicle
Maintaining a professional appearance, projecting confidence, and upholding the company’s reputation in every interaction
Responding to customer service needs on a 24/7 basis as necessary
Occasionally traveling to support broader team needs
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalency is required with Technical or Military experience preferred
Five plus years' maintenance / installation experience is required
Willingness to travel with some overnight stays
Must be proficient in the safe use of hand and hand powers tools, commonly used with installation and maintenance tasks
Ability to fix, solve, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment deficiencies
A service truck road test is required along with a clear MVR and good driving record
Digital literacy is required to perform projects and other day-to-day duties
Demonstrate safety proficiency and willingness to learn and grow with emerging technologies
Possess and demonstrate independence and strong internal and external customer interface skills and proficiency
Demonstrate quality brazing techniques and successfully obtaining certification are mandatory
Ability to read engineering drawings, bill of materials, flow sheets, equipment layout, piping drawings, and electrical controls schematics
Practice accurate cost reporting for both materials and labor expenditures
Gain understanding of the properties, behavior, and hazards of the products they are likely to encounter
Maintain parts and tool inventories to ensure proficient and successful task completions in a timely fashion
Demonstrate and practice safe work practices and adherence to procedures
Preferred
Experience in electrical, instrumentation, and PLC maintenance and troubleshooting is a plus
Familiarity with cryogenic and gaseous delivery systems is a plus
Previous Brazing experience is a plus
Exposure to maintaining pneumatic systems, pumps, pressure vessels, reciprocating and centrifugal compressors is preferred
