The role involves working closely with ophthalmologists to gather patient information, conduct examinations, and assist in surgical procedures while ensuring a smooth clinic workflow.

Responsibilities

Work closely with our ophthalmologists to gather comprehensive patient information, ensuring accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans

Conduct thorough preliminary examinations, including visual acuity, pupillary responses, and more

Administer a range of diagnostic tests, such as OCT, perimetry, and ophthalmic photography

Support ophthalmologists during minor surgeries, laser procedures, and crosslinking

Efficiently manage patient flow in clinic and imaging rooms, collaborating with clinical staff

(Certification Required)

Perform clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth and organized workflow

Qualification

Required

Proven experience as an Ophthalmic Technician

Knowledge of medical office procedures

Ability to perform indirect activities, administrative tasks and any other assigned duties that contribute to the efficient & high-quality performance of the medical practice

High School Diploma or equivalent

Certification Required for administering eye drops

Preferred

Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) Certification
