Relief Custodian- Evening
The University of Central Missouri is seeking a Relief Custodian for evening shifts. The role involves performing various custodial duties to maintain cleanliness and order in the facilities, including cleaning floors, restrooms, and classrooms, as well as responding to maintenance requests.

Responsibilities
Perform miscellaneous custodial duties to fill in for anyone on vacation or absent, as assigned, to include: Sweep, dust mop, spot mop, spray buff, shower scrub, burnish, and refinish all hard surface floors throughout the assigned area, or as assigned by the supervisor
Vacuum, spot clean, shampoo, extract carpets throughout the assigned area, or as assigned by the supervisor
Move furniture, equipment, materials, and perform other general maintenance
Service, clean, and disinfect restrooms, classrooms, offices, and clean drinking fountains
Remove trash and debris from building to dumpster
Clean entry way, partition glass, interior windows, blinds, light fixtures, and vents. Replace light bulbs, as needed
Dust furniture, spot clean walls, ceilings, and doors/frames, as needed
Maintain custodial closets, work areas, and equipment in a clean and safe manner
Snow removal, as required
Report to the Main Office by job request anything that needs repairing or replacing
Order and re-stock supplies
Buff, recondition, strip, seal, and finish resilient and hard surface floors
Vacuum, shampoo, spot, or extract manmade and synthetic carpets
Respond to emergency calls and unlock/lock otherwise secure buildings
Distribute supplies and move equipment
Report maintenance problems found while performing duties
Remove trash and recycling materials from all buildings
Perform special projects, as assigned by the supervisor
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent
Previous custodial experience
Resilient and hard surface floor care experience
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Valid driver's license
