Diagnosing, repairing, and servicing residential garage doors and openers
Installing new garage doors and openers from various brands such as LiftMaster and Hormann
Performing preventative maintenance checks to ensure long-term functionality and safety of garage door operations
Communicating effectively with customers, explaining diagnoses, repair options, and maintenance recommendations clearly and professionally
Providing accurate estimates and collecting payment upon job completion
Maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle
Completing work orders and required documentation accurately and promptly on the company provided tablet
Qualification
Required
1 to 4 years of verifiable experience as a garage door technician, including installation and repair
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills related to garage door systems
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs), work comfortably on ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
Professional appearance, positive attitude, and excellent communication/customer service skills
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
Proficiency in using hand and power tools common to the trade
Preferred
Familiarity with various brands and models of garage door systems
Experience with ServiceTitan
