Responsibilities

Monthly compliance of Sales & Use tax
Assist with processing refund claims
Validate exemption certificates in Vertex, Certificate Center, and Avalara, CertCapture
Assist with the exemption certificate campaigns
Work with Tax, Accounting and Business colleagues in the management and collection of information for indirect tax audits
Support the property tax, annual statement filing and business license filing process

Required

3+ years of state and local indirect tax compliance experience
Proven ability to effectively prioritize, organize, and perform multiple tasks with varying deadlines simultaneously
Ability to interact independently with peers and management
Possess excellent accounting, communication and analytical skills
Work under internal and external deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization

Preferred

BS Degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience with Vertex, CertCapture and ERP systems (i.e. SAP)
