2+ years expCope Plastics, Inc. is looking for a Maintenance Technician in Alton, IL. This position involves installation and repair of machines, primarily CNC, and performing preventative and reactive maintenance on all production equipment.

Responsibilities
Maintains and repairs machinery by using Preventative Maintenance work orders, daily check lists and calls for immediate repairs. This includes all Cope facilities
Troubleshoots, inspects and diagnoses problems and corrects as necessary
Installs new power requirements for machinery and replaces broken power receptacles
Builds new storage racks for corporate location and all branches
Possess the working knowledge of mechanical/electrical machine practices with the ability to read parts manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions and troubleshooting guides
Knowledge of machine design and operation and a familiarity with operating and setting up CNC equipment and assist with installation of new machinery
Records maintenance and repair work performed
Qualification
Required
Requires a high school education or GED plus additional specialized training in electrical and welding trades
Requires a minimum of two to three (2-3) years of experience in machinery maintenance, electricity and plumbing
Forklift License Required
Knowledgeable in various maintenance topics including but not limited to electricity, plumbing, mechanics, hydraulics, HVAC, pumps, etc
Familiarity with CNC machines
3 Phase experience
Preferred
2 years of Vocational/Technical School preferred
