Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently operate a Street Flusher Truck
Perform minor maintenance and servicing of the assigned equipment in accordance to existing safety programs, work standards, and procedures
Receive, promptly understand, and satisfactorily complete all work orders as directed by the Field Supervisor II or other appropriate supervisory personnel
Inspect and maintain the equipment's tire inflation; oil levels; leaks (oil, fuel, water, etc.); coolant in radiator; lights and signal devices; clear and clean windows, lamp lenses, mirrors; and functioning windshield wipers
Operate all equipment assigned to lower level Equipment Operators, as well as all equipment assigned to the level of Equipment Operator III, as assigned by the department
Qualification
Required
Possession of a current Louisiana Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and an acceptable driving record
Verifiable, satisfactory experience operating a Street Flusher Truck
Completion of approved training course in operating a Street Flusher Truck
Certification by an appointing authority that applicant has been adequately trained to operate a Street Flusher Truck
