Responsibilities
Performs routine semi-skill maintenance and/or landscaping tasks: inspects, cleans, and performs routine maintenance work on trucks and equipment; identifies and reports mechanical problems; uses a variety of hand and power tools
Provides service to internal and external customers
Sweeps and maintains right-of-way roads by operating street sweeper
Removes and replaces concrete by operating light equipment; cutting and breaking out damaged concrete; setting forms and pre-subgrade area; mixing concrete; pouring and finishing concrete
Removes and replaces asphalt; cuts asphalt; prepares and compacting subgrade, installs new asphalt, crack seals roads, apply hot crack sealant, and spreads and levels sealant
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED equivalency
6 months of street construction/maintenance experience or closely related field
Valid Arizona Driver License
Must complete a pre-employment physical including audiogram and pass a 50-pound lift test
Complete both the Town of Marana background check and a motor vehicle records check
