Responsibilities

Assist in planning and implementing day-to-day practice and game strategies

Providing feedback on daily basis of progress team is making and areas to work on

Recruit student-athletes within the rules and regulations of Bellevue College and the NWAC

Provide assistance with planning, scheduling and implementation of team fundraisers for teams revenue/foundation accounts

Work with athletic department to ensure successful athletic department wide fundraisers

Work with student-athletes, department, and academic advisor to develop academic plan for each student-athlete

Required

Basketball coaching and/or playing experience, high school, travel ball or higher

Valid drivers license and driving record check

Effective communication skills

Demonstrated ability/Able to facilitate learning of students/colleagues from diverse backgrounds

Preferred

Experience teaching advanced basketball

Strong organizational and management skills with attention to detail

Knowledge of NWAC and NCAA basketball rules

Knowledge of college policies and procedures, marketing/recruiting strategies and facility upkeep
