Responsibilities
Effectively planning, coordinating and implementing mental health and/or substance abuse treatment programs that require establishment of goals and objectives
Managing program operations and evaluating the effectiveness of programs
Overseeing and developing staff, ensuring proper training and development opportunities are available for subordinate staff
Evaluating staff performance in an objective and positive manner, and building a culture of collaboration and teamwork
Managing contract development, including scope of work, funding, and general oversight
Qualification
Required
License from the State of California to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT), a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), a Clinical Psychologist, Psychiatric Nurse, or Psychiatrist
Post-licensing, professional-level experience in a mental health clinical inpatient or outpatient setting
Experience serving in a supervisory or lead role in a mental health and/or substance abuse treatment program
Experience effectively planning, coordinating and implementing mental health and/or substance abuse treatment programs
Experience overseeing and developing staff, including techniques or methods used to evaluate staff's performance
Professional experience with contract management, including development of scope of work, funding, and general oversight
