Responsibilities
Must have a strong understanding of NEC
Strong understanding of Safety procedures & OSHA guidelines
Ability to read and understand blueprints, one-line, schematics & installation drawings. Install and terminate Electrical equipment, control devices, Instruments, and power distribution panels
Measure, cut, bend, thread, and install electrical conduit
Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and instrumentation systems in an industrial environment
Be knowledgeable in using various types of testing equipment, TREX, Fluke 789, Fluke 754 etc
Knowledge of P&ID’s, Loop Diagrams, Installation Details & Cable Schedules
SCADA & PLC/EFM/POC/DCS equipment
Wireless, Ethernet & Fiber Optic communication systems
TAR, Checkouts, Commissioning and Startup
Knowledge of Oil Field based PLC/Control Systems
Supervise and/or direct crews as needed, if applicable
Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical individuals
Communicate with clients in a professional manner while representing the company in a positive manner
Ability to work with little and/or no supervision
Qualification
Required
10+ years plus experience in Petro-Chemical, Industrial or Offshore
Must have a strong understanding of NEC

High School diploma or equivalent
10+ years of experience in an industrial setting
Stable work history
Must be legally eligible to work in the US. Sponsorship is not available
Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be able to comply with customer site requirements for access/entry
Must have a TWIC card or the ability to obtain
Willing to travel
Ability to lift fifty pounds regularly
See, respond, and report to possibly dangerous situations
Comfortable with heights and able to climb stairs/ladders
Bending, reaching, kneeling, and use of a step ladder at times
Ability to work in inclement weather and/or extreme weather-related conditions
Required to wear PPE/Safety gear at specific times
Preferred
Journeyman license preferred but not required
NCCER Instrumentation Certification
