Responsibilities
Sets up x-rays for examination, takes x-rays of patients, and records results
Qualification
Required
Possess Associates degree or higher from an accredited program
Passed ARRT exam
Licensed in the State of Utah as a Radiological Technologist
Deal with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism
Control or direct the operation of a program or function
Speak clearly, concisely and effectively; listen to, and understand, information and ideas as presented verbally
Use logic to analyze or identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts associated with information or data to draw conclusions
Perform medical procedures
Medical terminology
Principles, theories, and practices of radiology
Principles, theories, and practices of radiography
Organize information in a clear and concise manner
Maintain confidentiality
You must successfully pass a criminal history check
Preferred
Experience with Digital X-ray equipment
The ability to work independently and an understanding of interactions and adverse reactions to drugs, medications and their dosage
