Responsibilities

Install, wire, and terminate DC electrical components on mobile equipment (alternators, batteries, chargers, inverters, controllers, sensors, etc.)
Diagnose, design, and optimize DC electrical circuits for functionality and efficiency
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
Select and source appropriate parts, hardware, and wiring supplies to complete projects cost-effectively
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in the field and in shop settings
Work with hydraulic and mechanical systems where electrical integration is required
Ensure all work meets safely, quality, and industry standards

Required

Journeyman Electrician, Electrical Technician, or equivalent hands-on experience (formal license preferred but not required if experience is strong)
Strong background in DC electrical systems, preferable on mobile or heavy equipment (construction, agricultural, industrial, or marine equipment experience is a plus)
Ability to design circuits, size conductors, and calculate loads properly
Experience with alternators, battery banks, isolators, DC-DC chargers, and related systems
Skilled in troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Comfortable with both field and shop environments; able to lift and install components
Self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of working independently

Preferred

Familiarity with PLCs, CAN bus, or control wiring in mobile equipment
Basic knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems as they integrate with electrical components
Vendor and parts sourcing experience
