Responsibilities
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and central plant equipment
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (OSHA, ASME, EPA)
Respond to service requests and emergency outages with urgency and expertise
Document maintenance and system performance in our CMMS (MPulse)
Mentor junior technicians and collaborate with operations staff to minimize downtime
Qualification
Required
5+ years' experience in commercial/industrial facility maintenance
Advanced knowledge of boiler and chiller systems, hydronic/steam piping, and HVAC central plants
Ability to read technical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals
Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical, mechanical, and control systems (BAS/EMS a plus)
Valid Florida driver's license
Preferred
EPA Section 608 certification preferred (refrigerants)
