Responsibilities

Prepares, tries, and argues cases in various courts in the state and in federal district courts

Prepares pleadings, briefs, and allied court papers in connection with suits, trials, hearings, or other court procedures

Reviews proposed fundamental transactions involving nonprofit entities, including but not limited to changes of control, sale of assets, diversion of assets, etc

Performs legal research in connection with the preparation of trial and appellate briefs

Oversees the maintenance of complete and accurate files within an electronic case management system

Supervises junior attorneys in specific matters

Supervises investigative and clerical support staff

Drafts memoranda and provides recommendations involving complex issues

Answers routine correspondence

Performs related work as required
