They are currently seeking a Full-time Behavioral Health Technician to join their team at Logan Correctional Facility, responsible for implementing interventions and providing therapeutic support services to patients in a correctional mental health setting.

Responsibilities
Participates in weekly multidisciplinary treatment planning meetings and implements interventions for patients in a correctional mental health/healthcare setting
Providing therapeutic support services, including treatment focused programming, psychosocial groups, crisis management, social rehabilitation, and leisure activities
Providing formal education to patients in routine activities of daily living (hygiene, eating, recreation, etc.)
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of records and data management pertaining to the mental health treatment and scheduling of patients
Providing support for the operation of telepsychiatry services
Performs all duties as assigned by leadership and as directed by Centurion policy and procedure, as well as IDOC Directives, and Standard Operating Procedures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in a Social Science required
Must maintain current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR/AED certification
Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
Preferred
Two years or more experience providing activities programming for patients who have a serious mental illness preferred
Competencies with Excel sufficient to create, maintain, and update scheduling databases
