Hydroblasting Technician

Responsibilities
Make detailed relief with operations, when needed, reporting of current condition of equipment being cleaned and problems that may have occurred
Cleaning equipment which involves climbing stairs and ladders, and read gauges
Prepare equipment for cleaning, maintenance; & follow-up after repair
Perform work according to the ESOP to prevent environmental and safety hazards and insure compliance with the environmental and safety procedures
Monitor the operation condition of the reactor cleaning equipment in the reactor area to ensure a safe working condition
Extensive cleaning of the PVC reactors in a safe manner to reduce the buildup of scale in the reactors
Extensive cleaning of other equipment in the PVC area, as needed, in a safe manner
Maintain good general housekeeping and the working area in a clean Version 3 June 13, 2019 condition
Utilize computer systems, both process and personal
Maintain accurate and concise log sheets and other written records
Works a 12 hour shift and overtime as needed
Works in confined spaces and heights
Moves chemical drums and other various job duties as assigned
Conforms to all OSHA and Environmental agency laws
Abide by the quality Policy in regards to ISO 9000 and abide by the Environmental, Health & Safety requirements as they pertain to ISO 14001
Maintain hydro blast equipment in a good and safe working order
Maintain special tools used in the equipment cleaning
Inspect the scale, rocks, and plug gage conditions of equipment and inform the shift supervisor
Also perform various job duties as assigned when not cleaning equipment
Work outside normal shift hours as needed
Maintain regular and reliable attendance
Qualification
Required
18 months experience in various forms of hydroblasting
High School graduate or equivalent
Valid Driver's License
Troubleshooting
Maintaining cleanliness and operational integrity in industrial settings
Good communication skills
Accountability and reliability
Self-motivated, curious and eager to learn
