Responsibilities
Develop, establish and qualify methodologies for mechanical inspection methods including creation of necessary inspection procedures
Create set-up fixtures and programs for automated/non-contact inspection equipment (e.g., CMM, SmartScope, etc.)
Coordinate and perform Measurement System Analysis as required
Perform routine inspections as required
Support engineering as a GD&T subject matter expert
Participate in supplier qualification activities
Work within cross-function groups to implement corrective actions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Related Science Field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum of 3+ years experience working in the mechanical inspection field and automated inspection equipment in a regulated industry
Knowledgeable of ANSI Y14.5 and geometric tolerancing techniques
