Inspira Health is seeking a Retail Pharmacy Technician to perform manual technical tasks related to drug storage, distribution, and labeling. The role involves working under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist and ensuring proper procedures are followed for equipment operation and supply usage.

Responsibilities

Performs the manual technical tasks involved with the proper storage, distribution, packaging and labeling of drugs, obtaining patient’s clinical and prescription plan coverage information, review of new and/or refill prescription, associated record keeping and patient charging systems

Works under the direct supervision and control of a Registered Pharmacist

Follows proper procedures for the operation of equipment and use of supplies

Qualification

NJ Pharmacy Technician LicensureCPHT CertificationRetail Pharmacy ExperienceValid NJ Driver’s LicenseCertified Immunization Pharmacy Technician

Required

High School diploma or equivalent required

Valid NJ Driver's license required

NJ Division of Consumer Affairs Pharmacy Technician Licensure required within 6 months of employment in this position

Ability to sit, stand, walk lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds

Preferred

Retail Pharmacy technician experience preferred

National Certifications for Pharmacy Technicians CPHT from the following agencies: PTCB, NHA, ASHP/ACPE preferred

NJ Division of Consumer Affairs Certified Immunization Pharmacy Technician preferred
