Responsibilities
Codes and records data
Uses computer terminal to input and retrieve data and generate reports
Creates charts, illustrations and graphic representations of data
Performs clerical functions incidental to research activities
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated ability to work independently, effectively, and efficiently under pressure while managing multiple tasks with limited supervision
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain research documents and datasets according to regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as R and Python for bioinformatics data analysis and visualization
Familiarity with single-cell and spatial transcriptomics data analysis methods, including quality control, clustering, dimensionality reduction, and differential expression analysis
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with research colleagues and presenting data findings
Two years of related work experience and a high school level education; or the equivalent combination of experience and education
Preferred
Experience working with large-scale omics datasets, including scRNA-seq and spatial data
Familiarity with analysis tools and packages such as Seurat, Scanpy, and Bioconductor
Previous experience preparing data visualizations for scientific publications and presentations
Knowledge of human subject research regulations and previous experience coding, recording, and generating data reports
