Responsibilities
Provides counseling services to a combination of general caseload and transition youth, ages 14-24
Provides full performance level vocational counseling and guidance, training and selective job placement services to individuals with disabilities
Partners with the community and provides outreach to vendors to collaborate and coordinate agency activities and facilitate agency goals
Travels weekly to provide outreach to schools, parents, business partners, community partners and training meetings
Exercises a great deal of independent decision making
Qualification
Required
Has a Bachelors or Master's degree in rehabilitation counseling or a related field of study
Has experience in vocational rehabilitation counseling or providing vocational counseling, employment counseling, job development and placement, career coaching or academic training to individuals with disabilities
Has experience providing direct services to individuals with disabilities
You must successfully pass a criminal history check
Preferred
Has a Bachelors or Master's degree in rehabilitation counseling or a related field of study
Has experience in vocational rehabilitation counseling or providing vocational counseling, employment counseling, job development and placement, career coaching or academic training to individuals with disabilities
Has experience providing direct services to individuals with disabilities
