Responsibilities
Fills and dispenses medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
Verifies, obtains, and maintains accurate patient demographic, allergy, insurance, and other required information. Enters data into computer as required
Assists the pharmacist in maintaining an adequate drug inventory and quality control procedures
Prepares pharmacy work areas for daily activities/ operations/ usages to meet patient and pharmacist needs
Performs various administrative functions as required
Understands and demonstrates proficiency in 340B rules and regulations
Qualification
Required
Entry-level experience
Ability to fill and dispense medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
Ability to verify, obtain, and maintain accurate patient demographic, allergy, insurance, and other required information
Ability to enter data into computer as required
