Field Technician, Broadband
CobbFendley & Associates, Inc. is committed to providing innovative engineering and surveying solutions. They are seeking an experienced Broadband Field Technician to locate utilities and maintain company equipment in the Tempe, Arizona office.
Consulting
Responsibilities
Locate aerial, buried, and underground utilities through nondestructive methods
Locate and identify building utility entrance and exits
Distinguish types of cabling and equipment on utility poles
Record and document the field data in accordance with CAD standard formats
Document location of telephone poles and attachments
Identify and measure duct banks and riser conduits
Operate and maintain company equipment and vehicles
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Travel is a mandatory requirement of the role as assigned. The percentage of travel will fluctuate based on business needs and at times may account for 40% of the time worked. Travel includes to other offices or project sites throughout the US
Perform independent research and adapt to changing priorities
Work with minimal supervision/in a collaborative team environment and deliver accurate work product
Adhere to CobbFendley’s safety standards to uphold a safe and efficient environment
Maintain a professional attitude and fulfill responsibilities with integrity
Qualification
Required
Highschool diploma or GED, preferred
