Body Shop Technician

The Body Shop Technician is responsible for repairing damaged vehicle bodies and ensuring vehicle functionality through inspections and repairs, while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and communication.

Responsibilities

Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles; completing body damage repairs per provided estimate

Maintains vehicle functional condition by listening to customer complaints and review Service Advisor notes; conducting inspections; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing body damage

Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems

Keeps shop equipment in pristine condition by following operating and safety instructions at all times

Updates job and product knowledge as required by Hennessy or vehicle manufacturer

Communicates professionally and provides updates on customer repairs as needed to Service Advisors and the parts department

Required

Must be able to work in a past-paced environment

Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing tasks and demands

Ability to work independently as well as with a team

Must submit to a background and drug screen

Valid GA Driver's License with a clean MVR

Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting equipment (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking

Must be able to safely use manual tools and power equipment common in the automotive trades

Must be able to handle hazardous materials safely if needed
