They are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to facilitate the CQV process, support data analysis for quality management, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the production team.

Responsibilities
Facilitate and support the CQV process for mold rebuilds and/or qualifications
Provide Quality Manager with reliable statistical data in order to approve/disprove the qualification
Support Quality Supervisor with additional trending and data analysis needs in order to provide Quality Manager and/or Product Development detailed information regarding recurrent mold problems
Gather and assemble all pertinent mold transfer information for molds leaving this location
Maintain calibration procedures
Maintain and ensure an accurate measuring and testing system
Responsible for programming and/or troubleshooting lab equipment
Investigate and/or implement new quality measuring and testing systems for the lab
Assist in team problem solving with statistical data and backup information as necessary
Use data to drive continuous improvement
Assist Quality Manager with investigations for root cause and corrective action
Design, lead, and participate in training activities for production staff in the effort to improve quality
Disposition all rejected product daily, as backup to the Quality Supervisor
Attend daily production meeting to communicate current molding issues and rejections, as backup to the Quality Supervisor
Provide monthly statistical reports as requested
Audit 5S implementation and effectiveness in the plant
Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental and Department of Health requirements
Qualification
Required
College degree, CQE or equivalent Quality experience preferred
Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
Working knowledge of C-Pro, Ignition, Six Sigma, Excel, Minitab, and Team Building
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to lead employees in positive manner
Preferred
Experience in Material preferred
