Electronic Calibration & Inspection Specialist (1st shift)

Responsibilities

Calibration of all measurement and test equipment used for product acceptance, including test hardware, test software, and automated test equipment
Requires inspection and identification of new equipment
Calibration to specifications to assure accuracy and repeatability
Validation of parameters affecting product quality
Maintaining traceability of calibration sources and records to the NIST
Duties require basic computer skills in the Windows operating system and applications
Reading of blueprints, electronic schematic diagrams, and product manufacturers manuals

Required

A working knowledge of electrical/electronic measurement techniques
A working knowledge of electrical safety (120VAC / 220VAC 60Hz, and 400Hz 3 phase)
A working knowledge of physical measurements such as temperature, torque, force, etc
A working knowledge of familiarity with basic quality techniques
Must be able to use oscilloscopes
Must be able to use digital multimeters
Must be able to use spectrum analyzers
Must be able to use generators
Must be able to use ratio meters
Must be able to use power supplies
Must be able to use electronic counters
Must be able to use automated test systems
Must be able to use standard resistors
Must be able to use capacitors and inductors
Must be able to use angle position indicators
Must be able to use synchro's
Must be able to use rate table positioning systems
Electronic Technical/Vocational School certificates or associate degrees from an accredited college related to electronic technology or a High School Diploma / GED with the equivalent in documented two years' experience operating and testing electronic test equipment, meters, supplies
Successfully complete a written assessment
Duties require basic computer skills in the Windows operating system and applications
Reading of blueprints, electronic schematic diagrams, and product manufacturers manuals
