Responsibilities
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert, sharing specialized knowledge and insights within the business unit
Make recommendations to improve internal processes and department procedures
Identify and communicate business opportunities for both clients and the firm
Monitor industry trends, identify client issues, and proactively present solution options to management and the team
Oversee and review engagement deliverables to ensure quality control standards are consistently met
Partner with firm leadership on business development, including client meetings, presentations, and proposal preparation
Demonstrate a strong understanding of Qualified Plan needs and related client requirements
Supervise, mentor, and develop staff through regular performance feedback, training, and evaluations
Foster a team-oriented culture, support management decisions, and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
Minimum of 8 years of experience in public accounting or a related field
At least 5 years of supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership skills
Active CPA license (or equivalent certification) required and must be maintained
Proven ability to manage deadlines, balance multiple priorities, and adapt to changing needs
Strong written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels
Proficiency in relevant tax and accounting technology tools
Ability and willingness to travel based on business needs
