Responsibilities
Work with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
Evaluate existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend optimized solutions
Prepare detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and user stories
Serve as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and external partners to ensure clear understanding and alignment
Collaborate with technical teams to design solutions that meet business needs and ensure feasibility
Support user acceptance testing (UAT), validate deliverables against requirements, and ensure solutions meet expected outcomes
Develop reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to track project outcomes and business KPIs
Assist in defining and implementing change management strategies for new systems or processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
2–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role
Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Excel, Visio, Power BI, or Tableau
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Experience in [industry — e.g., travel, e-commerce, fintech, healthcare, etc.]
Knowledge of data modeling, SQL, or basic programming concepts
Certification such as CBAP, CCBA, or Agile BA certification
Experience working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
