Responsibilities

Work with the Devices leadership team to plan and drive an analytics strategy and roadmap that equips the business to make optimal decisions and roadmaps for our hardware products
Find novel data-based approaches to optimizing sales, pricing, merchandising, and promotions strategies through our retail and distribution channels
Leverage analytical and statistical skills to proactively generate insights that helps us build an excellent streamer experience
Partner with other data science, data engineering and analytics teams to execute on an overall data strategy that drives Roku forward
Hire and develop a team of exceptional analytics professionals who will generate actionable insights, balancing the tradeoff between precision and practical outcomes
Be a champion for an objective, data-driven culture that strives to do what’s right for Roku
Manage the design, execution, and analysis of experiments
Deliver presentations to clearly and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders and executive leadership

Required

10+ years of relevant experience in tech, retail, or consumer electronic sectors
5+ years of experience building and leading analytics teams including formal supervisory duties
Proven experience in driving projects from start to finish, while driving impact
Proven track record of thriving with ambiguity
Experience with statistical analysis and modeling, e.g. causal inference, significance testing, regression analysis, etc
Experience with SQL
Communication and presentation experience with proven track record of using insights to influence executives and colleagues

Preferred

Some coding ability in R or Python is a plus
