This hands-on role involves supporting geologists, engineers, and scientists on various projects, performing field and on-site lab testing of construction materials, and collaborating in a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities
Perform field and on-site lab testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials
Conduct moisture and density testing, including nuclear density tests on compacted materials
Collect and prepare samples for laboratory analysis
Work directly with experienced professionals in a collaborative, team-focused environment
Qualification
Required
High school diploma/GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering a plus!
Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
Steel-toe boots and readiness for physical work
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 80 pounds (e.g., concrete samples)
Comfortable with outdoor work, physical tasks, and variable site conditions
Strong work ethic, self-motivated attitude, and team mindset
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship not available)
Preferred
NICET and/or ACI certifications are a plus—but we're happy to train the right candidate
