North Star Behavioral Health is part of Universal Health Services, Inc., one of the nation’s largest providers of hospital and healthcare services. They are seeking an Application Analyst Intern to support various information services projects, improve healthcare quality and safety, and engage patients and their families in their healthcare.

Responsibilities

Participates in lunch and learn sessions to collaborate on UHS IS priorities

Participates in IS projects

Shadows Information Services employees to learn the different roles

Gains familiarity with different healthcare IS systems

Required

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Cyber Security, or a related degree from accredited college or university

Student must be rising into senior year (at minimum, must have 1st semester of junior year completed)

Minimum GPA: 3.0

Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Desire to learn and share ideas in a collaborative work environment
