Assembly Technician
Parallel Employment Group is partnering with a customer in the Lancaster, NY area who is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assembly Technician to join our 1st shift team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for assembling parts and sub-assemblies with precision, following detailed instructions and procedures to ensure quality standards are met.

Responsibilities
Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures
Use templates and measurements to correctly position parts and sub-assemblies
Examine and assemble connections and fastening parts accurately
Report issues with quality, processes, equipment, or materials to the Production Supervisor
Complete administrative tasks required for business or regulatory compliance
Accurately document production and quality control forms
Monitor and maintain inventory levels; order and verify supplies as needed
Follow all departmental procedures and work instructions
Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Perform other tasks as assigned within the scope of the assembly department
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent required
1–2 years of experience in an assembly environment is required
Strong oral communication skills
Intermediate computer skills
Basic knowledge of blueprint reading
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
