Prysmian is the world leader in the energy and telecom cable systems industry, and they are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring their safe and efficient operation.

Responsibilities

Inspect machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions

Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly

Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment

Disassemble machinery and equipment when there is a problem

Repair or replace the necessary parts, such as gears, bearings, and valves

Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs

Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery

Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear

Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices

Operate newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs

Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems

Other duties as assigned by management

Required

A results-driven individual who has demonstrated the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance manufacturing environment

Proven work experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician

Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics

Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures

Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

Possess basic understanding of MSDS

Operate Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PP, DataStream, MP7i)

High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or associate's degree in a technical field is a plus

Preferred

Understand technical service manuals and drawings

Read plant PID prints

Experience with MIG/TIG and stick welding (carbon and stainless steel)

Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, including 480V three-phase systems, is highly valued. This includes working with motors, control panels, and other industrial equipment

5-7 years of Industrial experience

3-5 years minimum experience in an industrial maintenance position
